China Bans World Famous Quran Application

China’s war on religious freedoms has gone too far! Here’s what you can do to help.

Ask Your Senators to Vote “No” on Senate Bill 2830: Iron Dome Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022

Israel is on track to get an extra billion dollars from the United States.

This request for extra funding for the Iron Dome, an Israeli Missile Defense System, is an extension to the 500 million dollars of defense funding already provided to the Israeli government every year.

That's not all! The United States also provides Israel with several billion dollars of yearly security aid, which Israel uses to update and maintain a military force that occupies Palestinian land and people.

What is especially concerning about this additional Billion dollars is the way it was maneuvered past our democratic system of checks and balances, and was fast tracked to be approved without any discussion or debate.

Iron Dome Funding and the Senate

The Iron Dome funding, which seeks to provide Israel an extra $1 billion in funding, passed in the House, and awaits a Senate vote. Although the House vote had a few notable representatives voting “No” to the bill, the Senate boasts no notable opposition.

The bill was introduced by US Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), and Susan Collins (R-ME). It was introduced as a standalone supplemental appropriations bill to fund the Iron Dome. The Iron Dome is a missile defense system used by Israel. The US has already provided (and provides) around $4 billion in annual aid to Israel, which includes military and security aid. The money that the US gives to Israel in the form of aid is used to continue Israeli occupation of Palestine, carry out an apartheid state, and violate international law.
