Today marks the start of the month-long War on Terror Film Festival. Join us today as the follow speakers offer welcoming remarks at 3:00 PM EST.

 
 
This Weekend's Schedule for the War on Terror Film Festival

This weekend's schedule of the War on Terror Film Festival is as follows:

Today at 3:00 PM will be the Kick-off event, followed by a showing of "The Mauritanian" at 4:00 PM, which will then be followed by a panel discussion of "The Mauritanian" at 6:00 PM. Saturday morning will open with a panel discussion on "The Road to Guantánamo" at 11:00 AM which will be followed by a showing at 1:00 PM. Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM will be a showing of "The Confession". Sunday at 1:00 PM will be a showing of "USA vs Al-Arian", which will conclude with a live panel discussion of the film at 3:00 PM.

 
Free Imam Jamil Rally on October 4, 2021 at 11:30 AM EST in Atlanta, GA

Join ICNA CSJ and our partners as we organize a demonstration of Imam Jamil and his life on his 78th Birthday. The rally and press conference will also feature the delivery of the petition signed by 78,000 people to the Fulton County district attorney demanding Justice for Imam Jamil. Let's show the world that #AtlantaStandsforJustice and that we want to #FreeImamJamil.

Pictures from last week's rally for Kashmir. These were our demands:
1. Immediate lift of military occupation in Kashmir
2. Release of all political prisoners
3. Halt and rescind all laws instituted to accelerate demographic changes
4. Allow Kashmiris to exercise their unfettered right of self-determination through a free and fair referendum.
