Assalamu Alaykum ICNA CSJ Supporter, The holiday weekend has come to an end, and as you shuffle back into your offices and get back to work, we’re here to give you a pat on the back for all your awesome work this year! We know this year has been a long one, and as it winds down, here are some sadaqah jaariyah opportunities for you. This year, you have sent thousands of copies of the Quran, headscarves, Islamic books, prayer rugs, and other religious materials to Muslims behind bars. You’ve also raised thousands of dollars to expand our work to combat Hindutva, a Hindu right-wing ideology sweeping across America. Next year, we need your support to do even more! We are brainstorming new ideas to bring more services to Muslims behind bars, and expand our work in combating harmful ideologies, supporting important policies, and teaching (and learning) about the issues affecting our American Muslim community.
