The UN did it, Ask President Biden to do it too!

In 2021, the United Nations declared March 15th to be the International Day to Combat Islamophobia. This day is dedicated to ensuring that Muslims across the world are kept safe from harmful labels, as well as their impacts, especially those that occurred in the post-9/11 world.

From pop culture to government,  the representation of Islam and Muslims has become overwhelmingly negative. Muslims are associated with buzzwords like terrorism, are thought to be oppressive, and are seen as a threat to the modern world.

We ask that the United States, in the spirit of this acknowledgment by the United Nations, also take action to help combat Islamophobia worldwide by instituting policies that would help to measure the impacts and incidences of Islamophobia around the world.

ICWA: Urge your Local Representatives to Codify the Indian Child Welfare Act!

The Supreme Court of the US has been “struggling” with a case dealing with the rights of sovereignty of Native tribes. They are hearing arguments challenging the Indian Child Welfare Act which is known as “ICWA.” The ICWA was enacted over 40 years ago when a congressional investigation found that public and private agencies had removed a third of all Native children from their homes and placed these children in institutions or homes with no ties to American Indian tribes.

The Exploitation of Migrant Children

The investigation by the publication is in-depth, harrowing, and completely proof of how little the US cares for effects of its own imperialism.
