Upcoming Protest in Washington DC on August 13th for Religious Freedom in India

March with us on Saturday, August 13 in Washington, DC for human rights and religious freedom in India!

  • Assemble at M.K. Gandhi Park, 2120 Q Street NW, between 8 and 10 a.m.
  • We will depart at 10 a.m. and march down Massachusetts Ave., through DuPont Circle to Connecticut Avenue.
  • Take Connecticut Avenue south to 17th Street, then to H Street.
  • We will rally in LaFayette Park until 3 p.m.

 

 

Hindutva Supporter Joins US Department of Homeland Security as White House Liaison

Amit Jani, a former New Jersey political operative, has recently become the White House liaison at the US Department of Homeland Security. Jani’s family has links to Indian Prime Minister Modi and other BJP leaders. He was appointed Biden’s Muslim Outreach coordinator during the 2020 election cycle when the news of his family’s connections came to light. 

 

USCMO Lauds Albuquerque Law Enforcement, Denounces Heinous Murders, Rejects Divisive Sectarianism

(WASHINGTON D.C., 8/11/22) – The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), an umbrella group of Muslim civil society organizations and mosques across the country, denounces the potential sectarian motivations for the recent heinous murders of two and possibly four Muslim men in Albuquerque, New Mexico, while we praise the swift, sincere, and exemplary police work and cooperation of local, state, and federal law enforcement communities.
